Heir 'Need You the Most' Single Review
Leeds-born sensation, Heir deliver a DIY pop gem in their new single ‘Need You The Most’. Fresh from their performances at reading and Leeds festival, the enigmatic band has delivered another catchy pop track that represents their unique sound.
‘Need You The Most’, which is now available, is a collision of 80s nostalgia with gritty, organic song writing. The uplifting sound has a familiar structure and feel to their previous releases, however the soft, yet powerful vocals drive it through. Heir know their sound, and this confidence is clear in the track, as well as on stage.
Heir, made up of Tom Hammond, Sam Luca, Harry Vernon, Ste Fisher and Samuel Newman, compliment each other perfectly. The track is led by Hammond’s punchy vocals that support the energy of the track, and Fisher’s energetic and technical guitar solo. The vocals lay upon a bed of dreamy backing vocals that are produced by the rest of the band.
The track will feature in their UK tour, which runs in October and November. Specifics of the dates and further venues are available on their Facebook page. With their debut single reaching #10 in the Spotify Global Viral 50, Heir are the band to definitely keep watch of.
